Cervical Cancer Elimination Day of Action 2024
Cervical cancer remains a leading cause of cancer-related death among women in sub-Saharan Africa, and women living with HIV are six times more likely to develop the disease. To address this, Swiss TPH and partners have developed the Cervical Cancer Prevention and Care Cascade, which aims to improve screening and treatment, particularly for women living with HIV. As the Cervical Cancer Elimination Day approaches, we recognise the essential role of frontline health workers in advancing cervical cancer prevention.
