Supporting Proposal Management for Negelected Tropical Diseases Projects in Côte d'Ivoire
Project Abstract
In the strategic plan 2023 – 2026, Anesvad has decided to support the development of civil society organizations into recognized actors in the fight against neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) through competitive grants. A first call for proposals was launched in Ghana in 2022; another call is planned for Côte d’Ivoire in 2023. Anesvad mandated Swiss TPH to support proposal management for neglected tropical diseases projects in Côte d’Ivoire. Specifically, the following services are expected: development of an improved process for calls for proposals, review of submitted concept notes and administrative eligibility of applicants, evaluation of the technical capacity of applicants, and design and implementation of a grant implementation progress monitoring and reporting system. The expected outcome is a system that ensures that projects funded by Anesvad are implemented efficiently and are aligned with the strategic plan of Anesvad.
