To apply for a postgraduate programme at Swiss TPH, submit your application using our online form, along with the required documents and supporting materials.
Each programme has specific entry requirements, including minimum qualifications and language proficiency. Programme-specific criteria may also apply. The application process follows a set timeline for submission, assessment and acceptance.

For most courses, evidence of two years of professional experience in a field significantly related to the specific subject areas is a prerequisite. Courses taught in English require sufficient English language skills (TOEFL Paper 550, TOEFL Computer 213, TOEFL Internet 79-80, IELTS 6.0 or completed higher education in English).
Most of our postgraduate programmes are taught in English, but we also offer some courses in German and French.
Course fees and associated costs depend on the course or programme you choose. You can find more information about the costs on the individual programme pages.
Scholarships are available for some courses. You can find more information about funding opportunities on the pages of the respective programmes.
The application of knowledge to real-life situations is a key feature of our practice-oriented training approach. Case studies and practical exercises enrich our postgraduate programmes and foster professional skills in systemic problem analysis, solution-oriented intervention design and critical reflection on complex issues. However, we do not offer internships as part of our postgraduate programmes.
Our facilitators and administrative staff are available to assist you with any issues related to your studies at Swiss TPH.
Our public cafeteria and the library services are available to all students, including access to equipped workstations for use during the day.

The postgraduate programmes at Swiss TPH offer excellent career prospects and networking opportunities. Participants take on new responsibilities in their field or move into new roles with UN agencies, pharmaceutical companies, international organisations, hospitals, governments or NGOs.
Ideally, you join our programmes in person at our headquarters in Allschwil, Switzerland, to get the most out of interacting with other students and facilitators. However, for most of our postgraduate programmes and courses, we offer hybrid options that allow you to participate online. Please check the individual course websites for more details.
