Evaluation - Girl Effect
Project Abstract
Swiss TPH was mandated to conduct the independent evaluation of the Gavi-Girl Effect Partnership which is aimed at increasing the uptake of HPV vaccination, encouraging broader integrated health seeking behaviour amongst adolescent girls, and improving the perception and experience of vaccination. The evaluation focuses on the Partnership's achievements in Rwanda, Malawi and Ethiopia, and assesses the effect of a multimedia branding intervention on behavioural outcomes related to HPV vaccination uptake by girls in these three countries. The evaluation consists in an initial evaluability assessment and reconstruction of the Theory of Change, and includes in-country data collection as well as several learning and dissemination events.
