Lisa Crump, DVM

Lisa Crump is a veterinary epidemiologist working in the Human and Animal Health Unit at Swiss TPH since 2010, using One Health approaches to improve health care provision and access in marginalized populations and strengthen local health capacity. She has field experience in Africa and Southeast Asia and global One Health consulting expertise (United Nations Environment Programme, World Health Organization). She is Deputy Editor for CABI One Health Resources. She was managing editor of “One Health: Theory and methods of integrated health approaches” (2015, 2nd edition 2021 CABI) and co-produced open online courses on One Health and transdisciplinary research. Her competences include One Health conceptual thinking in research and development on zoonoses, antimicrobial resistance and pandemic prevention as well as One Health implementation and capacity building at national and subnational levels.
