HIA - Health impact assessment service provision, research and education and training
Project Abstract
This long-term inter-departmental project combines service provision, research and education and traning pertaining to health impact assessment (HIA). It focusses on the assessment, management, monitoring and evaluation of health impacts associated with drivers of global change, namely population growth, migration, urbanization, natural resource extraction and climate change, with a focus on tropical and development regions.
