Professional activities at Swiss TPH

Joanne Blackwell is the Event Manager at Swiss TPH. She coordinates Global Public Health symposia, virtual seminars, exhibitions, and numernous institutional events, both internal and public. She is also responsible for the implementation and regulation of corporate image and design related issues including branding, communication materials and promotional items. As the longest-standing memebr of the Communications team, she also supports the Institute with various other activities. Blackwell has been with Swiss TPH since 2009. She holds a Bachelors degree in Literature with a minor in Graphic Design, from Purchase College of the State University of New York, where she began her career in coordinating short courses and symposia for K-12 teachers at the Universtiy. Blackwell has been organizing events for various organizations in the United States and Central Europe since 1987.
