Dr. Karin Gross

Karin Gross leads the Professional Postgraduate Training unit in the Education and Training department at Swiss TPH. She holds an MA in Social Anthropology and a PhD in Epidemiology. After her PhD, she worked at Swiss TPH as a Scientific Collaborator on various international and Swiss health research projects and, subsequently,  at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in several positions. Her main areas of expertise are in social sciences and mixed methods, nutrition, determinants of health as well as project planning and multisectoral collaborations. In her current position, she is involved in teaching, course coordination (MAS in International Health) and coaching of postgraduate and PhD students.
