Our Topics

Global health is at a crossroads, and our strategic topics reflect the challenges of today and tomorrow. Climate change is reshaping disease patterns and threatening health worldwide. Infectious diseases—both old and emerging—demand renewed attention in the face of impending pandemics and antimicrobial resistance. According to the World Health Organization, non-communicable diseases now account for 74% of global deaths, requiring urgent prevention and control measures, particularly in the context of a growing double burden of disease. At the same time, increasing health inequities call for stronger engagement with societal and cultural factors to achieve universal health coverage. To drive sustainable impact, we focus on strengthening health systems and promoting evidence-informed policies that translate science into real-world solutions.
